    Walker Range's goal is to minimize the total cost and loss resulting from fire in terms of suppression cost and damage to timber, other forest values and to assist in reducing trauma associated with emergencies.

    To obtain the optimum cost-plus-loss suppression results, we shall respond to all fire emergencies with an effective, well-trained, equipped and supervised organization to suppress the fire in the least time at the lowest cost.
